What Zumergy is — and isn't

Zumergy is a Michigan energy demand and referral brand. We build the resource that helps businesses understand their rebate opportunity, we estimate it, and we route qualified projects to licensed Michigan installer partners — utility trade allies who file the rebate paperwork and perform the installation.

To be clear about what we are not: Zumergy is not a licensed electrical contractor, and Zumergy is not itself a utility trade ally. Those are our installer partners. We never present their licenses, certifications, or project track record as our own.

How we make money (no mystery)

Zumergy is free to your business. When you move forward with one of our licensed installer partners, that installer pays us a referral fee under a documented, arm's-length agreement. You're never billed by Zumergy, and the referral arrangement never changes the rebate you're entitled to or what the installer quotes you.

Our integrity promises

• We never claim our installer partners' track record (project counts, dollars saved, rebates secured) as Zumergy's own.
• We never imply Zumergy is a licensed contractor or a utility trade ally — that's our partners.
• No fake reviews, no borrowed credibility, no invented ratings.
• We disclose the referral model plainly, on every page.
• Rebate figures are estimates based on utility program guidelines; your installer partner confirms the real numbers before you commit.

Where the name comes from

"Zumergy" is Zuma + energy — Zuma being the dog who keeps the lights on around here. We coined it on purpose: it's ownable, it's ours, and it won't get confused with anyone else in Michigan's energy space. (If your browser tries to autocorrect it to "zymurgy," that's a beer-brewing word — we promise we're about kilowatts, not kegs.)
